Ascend Phase Two Biking

We are excited to begin hosting activities for the clients at Ascend. This will be a road biking activity for phase two clients. Depending on the groups ability this activity may include some dirt trails, but will primarily be on a paved portion of the Jordan River Trail in South Jordan. Clients should be prepared and able to spend about an hour biking and be able to bike 5-8 miles depending on the group's ability. We will go at a pace that is comfortable for the entire group and will have opportunities for those who would like to push themselves with accommodations built in for those who are not at as high of a skill level. Utah Outdoor Therapies will provide bikes and helmets for all who attend. Some of the bikes have water bottle holders, but many do not. It is encouraged that clients bring a small bag or…
