WHAT DOES A PRIVATE ACTIVITY LOOK LIKE?

At Utah Outdoor Therapies, we specialize in creating meaningful, accessible outdoor experiences for addiction, mental health, and autism treatment centers. Our partners typically engage with us for one or more activities each month, integrating experiential, adventure-based recreation into their treatment programs. Most of the organizations we serve are residential and day treatment providers, though we also support larger outpatient programs through referrals to our free and member-only community activities when transportation is a barrier. We proudly welcome partnerships with any type of treatment center and actively seek creative funding collaborations to expand access to these life-enhancing experiences. Our programs accommodate groups of all sizes—from 5 to over 100 participants—and are intentionally designed to be inclusive, affordable, and easy for providers to implement.

DO WE PROVIDE THERAPY AT OUR ACTIVITIES?

While we do not provide therapy services during activities, we play a critical supporting role. Our team supplies all necessary gear and manages the full logistical planning, allowing treatment professionals to focus entirely on delivering high-quality care. This partnership model reduces staff burden while increasing opportunities for clients to build confidence, connection, and resilience through positive outdoor experiences. Our most popular activities include fishing, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, boxing, kayaking, hiking, disc golf, and biking. We are always open to developing new activity options tailored to your clients’ needs and interests.

HOW MUCH DO OUR ACTIVITIES COST?

Most sessions run 60–90 minutes and are highly cost-effective, typically ranging from just $15–$20 per client. Let's work together to expand what’s possible for your clients. Whether you are looking to enrich your current programming, improve engagement, or create more accessible recreational opportunities, we would love to partner with you. Reach out today to discuss scheduling, partnership options, or collaborative funding opportunities, and let’s bring transformative outdoor experiences to the people you serve. Please do not register for a private activity unless you are with the group listed on the activity title. Thank you!
