First Step House Rock Climbing Group 2

We are grateful for the staff at Momentum Climbing Gym and other experienced climbers who have offered to volunteer for this activity. We will have several volunteers to help belay for this activity and we will have all the equipment necessary ready for use at the activity. Each activity will take 12 clients and 1-2 staff members as needed. This activity will be an hour to hour and a half of outdoor rock climbing on a rock in Draper. This will be climbing with a rope (top rope) and Utah Outdoor Therapies staff/volunteers will manage all the logistics of the activity so clients can climb and have a great time. Each group will meet in the parking area and will take a brief quarter mile hike up to the climbing spot. At the climbing spot staff will go over basic safety and related rules.
