About the event
We want to start off by thanking the Division of Wildlife Resources for sponsoring this event. They have offered to provide fishing gear and fishing license exemptions for all who would like to come! We will begin at east river front park in South Jordan. There participants will be able to fish in stocked ponds for about an hour. Please arrive on time and dress accordingly. As we approach October the weather will likely get colder, so layers are recommended. Some fishing videos will be provided in our participant forms to give some instruction for those who have never fished. There will also be staff and volunteers who can help give some coaching on fishing techniques. All ages are welcome
